Gibson J 160E Acoustic Guitar. This guitar plays great and sounds great but it has lived a hard life. The guitar comes from a home with young children. Some years back the guitar was knocked out of its stand and fell onto a hard tile floor. Upon impact, the guitar neck snapped where the neck meets the headstock. It was professionally repaired. Neither playability nor sound was affected by the incident. Sometime within the last 18 months, the owner began to notice a crack on the front side of the body. If looking at the photos you can see it between the upper set of faces and the bottom set. It is almost as if it runs through the foreheads of the bottom set. I've read online that there are a couple of different fixes for such an issue. However, I, nor my friend, who is the owner of the guitar, are guitar luthiers. However, for someone who may be this would be a steal. Based on sound or playability you wouldn't know there was any issue.
